I read that story too. What in the world would ever poses anyone to put an UZI in the hands of a child supervised or not? It's heartbreaking. Just heartbreaking and totally senseless.
Our neighbor's son got an air rifle for his birthday. He's 4. He wasn't allowed to have "ammo" when other kids were around so he loaded it with dirt and shot my daughter in the FACE barely missing her eye.
Mia, your poor daughter!!!! That's terrible, and terribly irresponsible on the part of that child's family. This is why it drives me crazy that the NRA takes out ads insisting that those of us who favor stricter control despise freedom . . .
