Miss I's hair was beautifully braided in small, loose braids. They were so beautiful that she decided to save some of them. So she snipped two from the front at preschool today, and stored one in her bin.
Before I unbraided, I was terrified that I'd find she'd given herself a mullet, but it isn't too bad. It will mean no ponytails for awhile, lots of flat twists, and maybe extensions :)

B's hair is just now growing back to a semi-normal appearance. It would seem I am destined to raise PWBs (pre-schoolers without bangs) as all three of them at this age cut em' clean off.
Apparently once they begin cutting their hair it is very difficult to stop...fyi. I would also keep a close watch on the pets if I were you.
Mia, thanks for the warning. Dh has decided we should ban scissors entirely. Not sure how to make that work . . .
That's kind of sweet, in its own way! The things they think of.
So glad the surgery is over.
FYI, soon after my 5 yo daughter cut her bangs, she cut open her comforter to see what was inside.
Oh no! Is nothing safe?!
