No sh*t, Sherlock.
That is one of the most moronic statements about Safe Haven I've ever seen. As if the INTENT of the law matters one smidge?
We all know the law's intent: to save infants from being thrown in trash cans. Problem is, no one has ever been able to prove that it's actually serving that purpose--even when it's infants being dropped off at hospitals.
But we're not supposed to care about that, are we? We're just supposed to look at the intent of the law.
(Head, desk, bang.)
